About Me
I work in the fields of data governance, AI accountability, and sustainable development. I focus on how
digital systems can strengthen institutions, improve learning access, and support the long-term
well-being of people and the planet.
I grew up in Surat and Mumbai, where early experiences in film and media taught me to understand people
and their lived realities. That sensitivity continues to guide how I design, teach, and build systems
today. Over time, my interest in people and behaviour evolved into a broader focus on how data,
decisions, and digital tools shape everyday life.
My work naturally aligns with global development goals. My research on responsible AI and data quality
contributes to SDG 9 for innovation and SDG 16 for strong institutions, where I explore transparency,
governance, and trust in digital environments. Through The Wake Project, I work toward SDG 4 for quality
education and SDG 10 for reduced inequalities by improving access to career guidance and learning
opportunities for young people.
I have published my academic work with Springer, Wiley, and CRC Press, and it has reached more than one
thousand readers worldwide. My community work has supported over two hundred students and families
through free learning and guidance programs. My current interests span ethical AI, data governance,
climate-focused analytics, and inclusive digital systems.
My long-term goal is to help shape technologies and institutions that are fair, inclusive, and
future-ready. I continue to build research frameworks and community initiatives that support both human
and planetary well-being.
